1. HOW DO YOU ENROL AND START LESSONS WITH MOBILE SWIM SCHOOL?

We do have an online booking/enquiry form on our site which you are welcome to complete. However, it is preferable to speak with you personally to gather details initially about your enquiry.
To start with, we will need information on your child's current swim skill level and their days and times of availability. We will also need any details of special needs for your child.
This helps us to tailor a program for your child with a experienced and qualified swim instructor.
2. ENROLMENT & BOOKING DAY/TIME
Once we have agreed with you on a suitable day and time and lesson package for your child's lesson, we will email our details for payment via Paypal or Bank Transfer.
Please let us know if you are using your Child's Active Kids Voucher or First Lap Voucher from Service NSW at the time of payment and email a copy of it to us to deduct from your payment. We will deduct the amount from your invoice once we have verified the voucher and let you know.
3. CONFIRMATION
Once your lessons are confirmed with you and the payment for your lesson package is received, you are ready to begin Lessons with Mobile Marlins Swim School! Details of your lessons will be sent to you via email.

MOBILE MARLINS SWIM SCHOOL
All Mobile Marlins swim instructors are fully qualified with Austswim or ASCTA.
Lessons are offered from preschool level to junior squad level.
LEARN TO SWIM: Non Swimmers to basic freestyle and backstroke
STROKE CORRECTION: Freestyle and form strokes from beginners to junior squad level
SCHOOL CARNIVAL PREPARATION: Starts/Dives, racing technique, finishing
SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACCELERATOR PROGRAM: Held in January, 5 consecutive days of lessons in your pool

COMMON QUESTIONS
HOW MANY CHILDREN CAN TAKE PART IN A SWIMMING LESSON?
Each lesson at Mobile Marlins is “one on one”. We do not offer group lessons. Our swimming lessons are planned for the individual child.
WHY DO YOU ONLY TEACH ONE CHILD AT A TIME?
One on one lessons provide the child with the instructors 100% attention and a lesson that is focused entirely on the child’s individual skill and needs. With one on one time with your child, your child will progress more quickly in the program. For your child, there is no sitting around waiting for other children to complete and distractions are less.
CAN I SPLIT THE LESSON OR HAVE A SHORTER TIME?
We offer lessons of at least 30 minutes with each individual child per lesson as this is enough time to complete an individual program and lesson plan for your child each week. This time and consistency will see the most benefit from lessons. We therefore do not split lessons for this reason. Your child’s instructor will make a recommendation as to what lesson length is most appropriate for your child and set a lesson plan to suit.
ARE PARENTS REQUIRED TO BE IN THE WATER?
No, you do not need to be in the pool for lessons. As will public swimming lessons, you welcome to watch the lesson but our instructors are very experienced with teaching children to swim in your pool and do not require you to be in the pool during lessons.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT IS RAINING OR THERE IS A THUNDERSTORM?
If it is just raining, we will continue to hold classes. Your child will be wet in their lesson anyway!
If the weather is unsuitable ie: windy and cold, we will postpone the lesson for another time.
In the case of a thunderstorm or electrical storm, lessons will not go ahead or will be suspended if they have already started. We will continue or start once the storm has passed.
If we need to cancel a lesson we will attempt to contact you as soon as we can. But unless you have called us, please expect the lesson to go ahead. Please see our Cancellation Policy.
DO YOU PROVIDE EQUIPMENT?
All equipment is provided for the lesson by Mobile Marlins. You only need to provide your pool for the lesson.
WHAT AGE WILL MY CHILD BE ABLE TO SWIM BY THEMSELVES?
This is a question that is asked of swimming instructors all the time and is a very difficult one to give an exact answer to. All children progress at their own speed and the ability to swim independently will depend on the individual child. We do however recommend regular lessons for them to eventually be able to swim by themselves.
